The Peninsula Club is a stunning country club that sprawls along eleven miles of the Lake Norman shoreline in Cornelius, N.C. The club was purchased by the members in the year 2000, and it provides a casual, resort-type atmosphere with events and activities for members of all ages, from toddlers to retired members. From the beautiful summer months to North Carolina's 50-degree winter days, members are able to enjoy the club year-round. Both the golf and tennis communities are lively and active throughout the year. Additionally, the fitness center and fitness studios provide the opportunity for members to stay in shape, as all members have access to the facilities 365 days per year. These centers are open from 4:30AM to 10:30PM,, allowing members to pick a workout time that easily fits into their schedule. The Peninsula also features a dedicated children's activities area with year-round programming, allowing children to be active members of the club. The pool is open in the summer, providing full-service aquatics programming, swim team, lessons and all-around pool fun. The  club also has very active Junior Golf and Tennis programs, offered by professional staff. There are many opportunities at The Peninsula Club to let children be active, social members!

Dining at The Peninsula

The Peninsula’s main clubhouse has two restaurants - one an upscale, adult-only dining area on the upper level (The Veranda), and the other a family-friendly, bar-and-grill environment on the lower level (Mulligan’s). Both restaurants offer inside and outside seating with beautiful views of the lake. Members can also venture out to popular Cornelius restaurants such as Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails for casual dining or Barrel & Fork for a cozy date night.

Stop by the Peninsula Village and check out the Wine Store for a unique wine tasting experience while you shop, or step inside Dutchman’s Designs, a casual living store that offers the best in furniture, home decor, lighting, and more.
