Located conveniently off of Brawley School Road, life in The Harbour is bustling with activity. This welcoming lakefront neighborhood is a sister community to The Point. The Harbour is accessed through the entrance of The Point, and also allows residents the option to join The Point’s numerous amenities. This community offers a mix of waterfront and off-water homes that are fully custom built and meet the same high standards of those at The Point. The community also has a marina area with day docks, boat slips, and a boat ramp. The Harbour offers lake access playgrounds, tennis courts, a soccer field, a waterfront community park, and a junior Olympic sized swimming pool.
The Harbour does not currently offer on-site dining, however, many locals venture just a few miles up Brawley School Road to enjoy Caruso’s Italian Restaurant, offering the finest Italian cuisine in an elegant setting. For more casual dining, next door is La Patisserie Café, a local favorite. Many meet here for a quick but tasty lunch, or stop by to choose from their delicious bakery treats. Other popular restaurants in the area include Pisces Sushi Bar & Lounge, The Famous Toastery, Fresh Chef, and waterfront dining at Eddie’s on Lake Norman. For those looking to enjoy an adult beverage, residents flock to The Barrel for a girls’ wine night or K-Craft Beer & Wine for a cozy atmosphere with live music.
While The Harbour doesn’t offer shops within the community, several residents enjoy shopping at local boutiques off of Brawley School Road. Many enjoy shopping at Cozy Boutique, just 2 miles outside of The Point, which offers trendy women’s clothing and accessories. Sweet Grass is also a local favorite - this is a great place to shop for gifts unique to Lake Norman. Other popular shops include Lavendar Boutique, offering the latest designer brands, and Going Twice, Mooresville’s go-to consignment shop.
The Harbour offers a variety of events for all ages. The Clubhouse is available for residents to reserve for local gatherings, birthday parties, and other events. The Harbour welcomes all to their Annual Picnic in the Park, an outdoor event held in the fall, where residents gather to enjoy live music, food trucks, and quality time with neighbors. Younger residents will enjoy Halloween in The Harbour, and adults will enjoy some holiday cheer at the Annual Sip & Shop. The Harbour also hosts a monthly bunco club, held at the Clubhouse.
